Breaking: 7 VRA staff, others dead As bus tumbles down Asitey mountains At Manya Krobo
Information reaching DEGRAFT MEDIA has disclosed that seven people including staff of the Volta River Authority(VRA) have perished in a ghastly accident at Manya Krobo in the Eastern Region of Ghana.
According to the report the travellers were returning to Akosombo from a funeral they attended at Akim Oda in the Birim Municipal Assembly.
Reports say the accident occurred from a break failure and in cause of that the driver lost control of the vehicle, that led to the accident when the vehicle on which they were traveling tumbled into the valley of the Asitey mountains.
The incident occurred at about 9pm on Saturday June 15, 2019.
Several others who were severely injured in the accident were rushed to the Atua Government Hospital and the St Martin De Porres Hospital, Agomanya.
Most of the victims were also referred to the St Joseph’s Hospital, Koforidua for further treatment.
