Update so-far
The Leadership of CUGT as part of ensuring that university graduate teachers who have met the requirement for recruitment into the GES get posted come September, 2019 was at the Ministry of Education and GES to present our concerns which need urgent attention.
At the MOE
The leadership however did not meet the Hon.Minister since he was on an official assignment elsewhere. The leadership was compelled to book an appointment on a later date to meet the minister for our concerns to be address.
At the GES
The same fate at GES, but the leadership due to their wisdom was able to meet the Director-General Human Resource to have our concerns addressed. We intensively discussed our concerns with her and also presented our petition which will be discussed with the Director General as and when he returns to the office later today.
We have been assured of getting a feedback before the close of the week to meet the Hon.Honourable Director General as to our fate.
We are however, calling on all to remain focused and rally behind us in this just course.
